FAQs

How much wire can the Stretch-N-Go handle at once?

The Stretch-N-Go is capable of stretching up to ¼ mile of woven wire without reloading, which equals two 660′ rolls or four 330′ rolls at a time. This extended capacity significantly reduces reload downtime on long fence runs, allowing crews to complete more linear footage in fewer passes.

How many people are required to operate it?

Only two operators are required—one to run the skid-steer and one to secure the fencing to posts as it is stretched and dispensed. By eliminating separate stretching tools and reducing reload frequency, the Stretch-N-Go dramatically cuts labor requirements compared to traditional fencing methods.

How does the Stretch-N-Go maintain proper wire tensions?

As the operator guides the unit with a skid-steer, the woven wire is stretched while it dispenses. The system holds the wire upright and taut against the fence posts, allowing a second crew member to walk behind and secure it. Coated tension rolls protect the wire during installation, while an adjustable brake system provides controlled, consistent tension throughout the run.

Why the Stretch-N-Go?

"I would not be able to do the square footage I do, in the time I do it, without the Stretch-N-Go. I had three employees put up 3,000 lf. of five strand barbwire in 13.5 hours. I had the same three put up 9,100 lf. of five strand barbwire in 5.5 hours and 18,400 lf. of six strand barbwire in 8 hours. I wish I would have purchased the Stretch-N-Go sooner because it has already saved me so much money!
